In this video message, Ruben Mesa, MD, director of the Mays Cancer Center, emphasizes the center’s commitment to the health and safety of all staff and patients.
Dr. Mesa stresses that the COVID-19 crisis is not over and everyone must remain vigilant to reduce the transmission of the disease.
The Mays Cancer Center’s two core missions remain the same:
- Keep our patients, their families and employees safe.
- To have patients receive cancer care that does not compromise the outcome from the treatment they are receiving.
Dr. Mesa encourages everyone to wear a face mask, use hand sanitizer, wash their hands with soap and water often and remain socially distant. By working together, we can stop the spread.
