ABC 12 TV in Miami, Fla., aired the Ivanhoe Broadcast News story about research being conducted by Pratap Kumar, PhD, Department of Molecular Medicine, and Darpan Patel, PhD, associate professor of research in the School of Nursing.
The researchers decided to test cork tree bark extract, also called Nexrutine, to fight dangerous body inflammation, which often contributes to prostate cancer development.
