Anibal Diogenes, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., is the recipient of the prestigious Edward M. Osetek Educator Award from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).
As an associate professor and the director of the endodontics residency program at UT Health San Antonio, Dr. Diogenes has served as an adviser and mentor to students.
His areas of research include pain, neuroscience and regenerative endodontics.
Dr. Diogenes is a member of the AAE’s Editorial Board Committee. This award is given to a member that has been a full-time educator for up to 10 years and is respected by students and faculty.
In addition, the recipient is someone who has received invitations to present at endodontics seminars, lectures or workshops.
The AAE will formally present these awards at its annual meeting in Nashville this April.
