Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas Inc., the 50% nonprofit owner of San Antonio-based Methodist Healthcare hospital system, has awarded $32 million to 92 nonprofit agencies across the southern portion of the state.
More than half of the grant money — nearly $16.7 million — is going to Bexar County organizations, including Alamo Colleges, the San Antonio Food Bank and UT Health San Antonio’s dental and nursing schools.
