Suman Challa, B.D.S, MSPH, has been appointed the associate dean for Advanced Education Programs and Strategic Initiatives in the School of Dentistry, effective Feb. 24.
In this role, Dr. Challa will partner with advanced education directors to enhance training programs in the School of Dentistry and will be a key advisor on Dean Peter Loomer’s leadership team.
Dr. Challa is currently serving as interim assistant dean for Advanced Education Programs and Strategic Initiatives and as the director of the Dental Public Health graduate program.
Dr. Challa has been a UT Health San Antonio faculty member since 2008.
