The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is scheduled for an accreditation assessment, verifying it meets professional standards.
Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
As part of the assessment, UT Health San Antonio employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments in one of the following ways.
Call in Session
UT Health San Antonio employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (210) 416-8522 on Monday, June 15, from noon to 2 p.m. Comments will be taken by the CALEA assessment team.
Public Information Session
UT Health San Antonio employees and the public are also invited to attend a public information session at noon Tuesday, June 16. The session will be conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams. The call-in number is +1 210-469-0159, conference ID 297 039 052#.

Telephone comments, as well as comments at the public information session, are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA standards.
