UT Health San Antonio students and others came together April 10 to create blankets for abused kids. The effort was organized and coordinated by Kimberly Tench, a nursing student in the accelerated bachelor’s program. The project received funding from the Student Government Association to buy the fabric. Tench said that 120 blankets will be donated to Child Protective Services in Bexar County.
