Honors fly high as banners announce School of Medicine’s national ranking

In recognition of the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Grad Schools for 2022 rankings, large banners were erected to showcase the Long School of Medicine’s achievement of being named a top 50 medical school for the first time in its history.

The UT Health San Antonio family mourns the passing of Dr. Elliot Weser, a founding faculty member and original Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition, at the age of 89.

Novavax vaccine is highly protective against COVID-19 in Phase 3 results

UT Health San Antonio collaborated with University Health as part of the international COVID-19 Prevention Network and enrolled 176 Novavax clinical trial participants in San Antonio for the Phase 3 study, which is called PREVENT-19.
