Dr. Viles joins UT Health San Antonio from MD Anderson Cancer Center, UT Health’s sister institution in The University of Texas System.

The partnership includes recruiting, enrolling and educating six nurses from Webb and surrounding counties into the UT Health program.

Health care providers in the Employee Health & Wellness Center and the Student Health & Wellness Center at UT Health San Antonio have integrated a mental health component into their primary care services.

She will use the funds to develop a community research collaboratory to accommodate the unique needs of persons with dementia and their caregivers.

Flu shots are now available at both the Employee Health and Wellness Center and the Student Health and Wellness Center.
