Fiscal year 2017 marks the end of UT Health San Antonio’s 2013-2017 strategic plan. The Office of Strategic Planning & Business Development, with assistance from the institution’s five schools and various administrative departments, has created an Accomplishments Report for fiscal years 2013- 2017, to highlight key achievements in each of our key strategic focus areas: education, research, health care, community engagement and organizational effectiveness.

A few of the achievements over the past five fiscal years include: being one of four institutions in the nation offering a Master of Science in Respiratory Care, awards received supporting research (i.e. NIH grants, CPRIT grants, STARs awards), the opening of the Center for Oral Health Care & Research and UT Health Hill Country, the establishment of the Military Health Institute, and the dedication of the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine.

As evidenced in the Accomplishments Report, we have a strong foundation for success and excellence upon which we can build upon. A Strategic Vision was created for fiscal years 2018-2022 and will serve as our compass as we move into the future.
