A scheduled power outage for the Academic Learning & Teaching Center (ALTC) will take place from 7 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Aug. 11. All normal power to the ALTC will be unavailable. Emergency power outlets and emergency lighting will be available throughout this outage.
The purpose for this electrical outage is to connect electrical infrastructure to the university’s new 13.2kV main switching station.
All sensitive equipment not on emergency power or on a UPS, such as computers and instruments, should be secured prior to the outage.
