Employees and students who park in Parking Lots 3, 9, 10 and 11 on the Long Campus will need to use alternate entrances to access their parking areas from Aug. 1-7. The campus roadway between Hillside Drive and Louis Pasteur Drive, adjacent to the recreation field and volleyball courts, will be closed for roadway repairs and resurfacing.
Two rows of parking spaces immediately adjacent to the construction area will be temporarily unavailable. Drivers are encouraged to arrive a few minutes earlier than usual to allow additional time for possible traffic delays.
Dates are subject to change based on weather conditions.
Affected Entrances
The following access points will be closed during construction:
- Hillside Drive entrance, near the volleyball courts
- Louis Pasteur Drive entrance, near Babcock Road
Alternate Access Routes
Drivers accessing Lots 3, 9, 10 and 11 must enter through Campus Drive. A traffic flagger will be stationed at the four-way stop near the entrance to Lot 11 to assist with vehicle access. Signs will be posted to assist drivers.
Drivers who normally enter campus from Louis Pasteur Drive near Babcock Road should use one of the following alternate routes:
- The alternate Louis Pasteur Drive entrance near Clinic Drive, across from Bakery Lorraine, or
- The main campus entrance on Floyd Curl Drive, across from Main Methodist Hospital.
