$750,000 grant to fund study of fatty liver disease

A five-year, $750,000 Clinical Scientist Award in Translational Research grant from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund will help researchers at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio conduct the first large-scale study of fatty liver disease in individuals with Type 2 diabetes.

Ramamurthy named to foreign medical graduate readiness board
