There were 28,925 students enrolled in U.S. dental schools for the 2025-26 academic year, according to data from the American Dental Association. The School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio, the academic health center and health system of The University of Texas at San Antonio, had the most of any Texas dental school, with 445 enrolled.
