“Tim Duncan Day” is Thursday

San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor declared via her official Twitter account that this Thursday, July 21, would be known as “Tim Duncan Day,” after the Spurs legend who retired last week. Taylor is encouraging citizens to don all of their Spurs gear as a tribute to the retired star.




CTRC offering free skin cancer screening

The Cancer Therapy & Research Center is offering free skin cancer screenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, at the CTRC, 7979 Wurzbach Road. The CTRC is part of the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

Marianist artist Brother Cletus dies

Beloved San Antonio artist Brother Cletus Behlmann, S.M., died July 12 in San Antonio at age 82. He leaves behind a trove of truly unique art and countless fans and friends, including many at the Health Science Center.
