As UT Health San Antonio expands its overall enterprise throughout the community, including the new UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, Eduardo Gomez, MBA, MSc, is expected to play a key role in its success. Gomez joined the institution in May as the inaugural director of strategic intelligence.

After completing voting this month, 16 new members have been elected to the Staff Advisory Council. The new members below will serve a two-year term from Sept. 1, 2021 to Aug. 31, 2023.

Construction has begun on the new UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, which is expected to be operational by mid-2024. To correlate with the facility build, a new organizational structure is also being established to support best practices in leadership, hospital management, innovation and collaboration.
