After breast cancer surgery, women are prescribed adjuvant (or follow-up) therapies such as chemotherapy to reduce the risk of the cancer returning. It’s been assumed that the treatment effects of these therapies remain constant over time, but a new study from the CTRC suggests the opposite is true.

UT Nursing partners with AVANCE for school-based pediatric clinic

Two hundred children who attend the AVANCE-San Antonio Head Start program at Fenley Center will receive on-site health care through a new nurse-led clinic at the school. The Fenley Center is a child-development campus in the Harlandale Independent School District.
