CNBC: Fauci says delta accounts for 20% of new cases and will be dominant Covid variant in U.S. in weeks

Dr. Barbara Taylor, Infectious Diseases, was interviewed by CNBC for a story related to the delta variant and a statement from White House chief medical adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, urging vaccination for people who haven’t yet been vaccinated. Dr. Taylor expressed concern that the variant is more transmissible, can reinfect people who have had COVID-19, may cause more severe disease and, in some settings, appears to have increased mortality.
