The conference is presented by the UT Health San Antonio-led STRONG STAR Consortium and Consortium to Alleviate PTSD. It will focus on emerging outcomes and ongoing scientific research on the assessment and treatment of combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and comorbid conditions in military service members and veterans.
During two days of presentations and breakout sessions, attendees can expect:
- Leading researchers presenting new results on the treatment of combat-related PTSD
- Presentations on suicide, insomnia and nightmares, comorbid substance abuse, and more
- Special presentations on biomarkers of PTSD
- Opportunities to network and consult with leading researchers
The registration fee to attend the conference is $200 for the general public and $50 for students and active-duty military personnel. Attendees may apply to receive approximately 12 continuing education units (CEUs) at no additional charge.
