Cosmetic Surgery: Is It Right for You? – free lecture offered May 17

WHAT: A free public lecture on cosmetic surgery, part of the ongoing health information series provided by UT Medicine San Antonio, the practice of School of Medicine physicians at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. The discussion will include a live botox demonstration on one of Dr. John Morehead’s current patients.

WHO: Two faculty speakers:

  • John Morehead, M.D., assistant professor of otolaryngology – head and neck surgery in the School of Medicine, speaking on surgery for the nose, chin and face. Dr. Morehead is board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Maureen Sheehan, M.D., assistant professor of surgery in the School of Medicine, speaking on vascular surgery for the legs, including varicose and spider veins. Dr. Sheehan is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery.
