COVID-19 vaccine clinic volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to assist visitors, especially older adults, as they arrive on campus to receive the COVID-19 vaccine inside the School of Nursing’s Hurd Auditorium.

Volunteers will be outside helping with crowd control, giving directions, pushing wheelchairs, assisting people in and out of their vehicles, checking that they have confirmed appointments and have signed all consent forms.

Staff, faculty and students who are interested in volunteering can sign up through UT Health San Antonio’s community engagement platform, ENGAGED.

You will be asked to log in using your UT Health San Antonio credentials. Once logged in, scroll down to register for the day and time that best fits your schedule.

Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable shoes, dress according to the weather, park in Lot 8 and meet the shift coordinator under the tent located between the School of Nursing and UT Health San Antonio Police Department.

Volunteer shifts will be added as they become available, so continue to check the ENGAGED site.
