The deadline to donate items to the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) online auction has been extended to Friday, Aug. 19. The SECC is the annual charitable giving campaign for state and higher education employees. This year’s campaign runs from Sept. 1 through Oct. 7.
The virtual silent auction has been a huge success for the past two years, and all departments, staff, faculty and student groups are invited to participate.
If you’d like to get creative and showcase your talents, please consider donating items to the online auction. Some ideas include a gift basket, artwork, handmade jewelry or other crafts. All contributions are appreciated, with the exception of clothing.
To contribute to the virtual silent auction, first submit a description of the item or items you’d like to donate, along with a photo and the value of the item to the auction committee by Aug. 19. The items for the online auction will be collected at a later date.
