The Enterprise Research Management System (ERMS) application is now fully operational for the Agreements, Conflict of Interest and Institutional Review Board (IRB) modules. The ERMS-IRB module is a one-stop shop for all human subjects research. The ERMS-IRB module replaces email as the primary venue for study submissions and status checks.
Key points for the ERMS-IRB module:
- All active, non-exempt studies have been transferred into the ERMS–IRB.
- Principal investigators can appoint as many proxies as necessary to submit studies and changes on their behalf.
- Users aren’t quite finished when clicking “Finish.” An item is not submitted to the IRB Office until “Submit” is clicked on the left-hand side of the main study screen.
