Event Details:

Innovation is born out of the union of science and art woven together by creativity. This year, in partnership with the City of San Antonio, we are one of 20 sites honoring the impressive sculpture collection created over the past 50 years by acclaimed Mexican artist Maestro Sebastian. Best known for La Antorcha de la Amistad or the Torch of Friendship in the heart of downtown, his work emphasizes complex mathematical properties that entwine concepts of science and art.

We invite you to join us for Conversations on Science and Art to meet the Maestro and learn more about his integration of science in his art.

Presented by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Long School of Medicine Office for Research.
