The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases will hold its first public lecture as part of efforts to spread understanding of  dementia in the community.

The first lecture, Dialogue on Dementia: “Is Lifestyle Important for Preventing Dementia: Insight Into the Roles of Sleep, Diet, and Maintaining a Healthy Heart,” will be presented by Matthew Pase, Ph.D., a nationally renowned researcher on Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The lecture will feature Dr. Pase’s latest findings on how lifestyle choices, such sleeping, eating and exercising, can alter the risks of developing dementia.

The event is free and open to all.
