Please join us Wednesday, Jan. 15, for “The Rise of Value-Based Health Care,” a discussion on health care’s changing landscape and UT Health San Antonio’s journey to increasing value for patients and physicians alike. Featured speakers include:

·         John E. Hornbeak, LFACHE, MHA, executive in residence in the Trinity University Department of Healthcare Administration and former President/CEO of Methodist Healthcare System

·         Chandana Tripathy, M.D., FACP, medical director of Primary Care at the UT Health Medical Arts & Research Center (MARC)

Mr. Hornbeak will describe paradigm shifts in health care and explain why value makes sense in this new era. Dr. Tripathy will recount UT Health Physicians’ journey into value-based health care to increase understanding of the concepts of patient-centered care, goals of value-based health care, and methods of measuring progress.
