Wreaths Across America – Wreaths Day

The Staff Advisory Council is proud to assist in coordinating this event for UT Health San Antonio once again.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has affected how the Wreaths Across America event will be carried out this year, but the sponsorship and volunteers are needed more than ever.

This year's volunteer event will begin on Saturday, Dec. 19. Volunteers will be laying wreaths on Dec. 19 and Dec. 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until they run out of wreaths to lay.

Since there is no ceremony planned, volunteers will drive up to the cemetery and will be handed a wreath to match the number of volunteers per vehicle.

Volunteers may go lay the wreaths on any gravesite that does not yet have a wreath. Cars can line up as many times as they’d like to (while wreath supplies last).
