Facilities Management introduces new reporting app

To better serve the organization and provide an improved level of customer service related to the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of UT Health San Antonio buildings, Facilities Management (FM) is partnering with Information Management Systems (IMS) to create a convenient Report-A-Problem (RAP) App; a mobile-friendly app that runs on any mobile phone and portable computing device.

The current reporting system allows everyone in the university to submit an online form to notify FM of incidents that require maintenance or repair to include issues such as wall electrical outlets without power, out-of-order elevators, temperature-related issues, or ceiling water leaks.

The RAP App, built on the Microsoft PowerApps and Office 365 platform, mirrors the current form and allows faculty, staff, and students to report problems on-the-go through a timelier, more convenient and accessible reporting tool.

The RAP App is available now. It will replace the current RAP form. Links to the form can be found on Facilities Management website. The SharePoint portal will be updated so that the app will launch in its place.
