Have you tried the new Panorama Restaurant located on the first floor of the Academic Learning & Teaching Center (ALTC) yet? It’s a best kept secret, but word is getting out with positive reviews for their new buffet service! The sit-down service with views of the Hill Country comes complete with table-side service for beverage and an extensive buffet, featuring multiple chef inspired creations, fresh cooked vegetables, a variety of fresh salad options, homemade soups and decadent desserts. Soup and salad buffet runs only $9.99 and full buffet service is priced at $15.99, lower than other nicer restaurants close to the Health Science Center, and that includes unlimited drinks, as well. If you’re dining on campus for a business lunch, you can call Panorama ahead of time and arrange for the lunch meeting to be charged to your PID, eliminating the hassle of travel and reimbursement.
If you’re rushed for time, Panorama Express, the convenient walk-up café, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options that are prepared fresh daily and are easy to take on the go. We are in the process of posting buffet menus and daily specials at both Panorama Restaurant and Panorama Express on the portal.
Online ordering for catering services is available through CaterTrax, an easy-to-use online system that can be used for meetings, luncheons, employee gatherings, etc.
And don’t forget, frequent diner and café rewards programs are available.
