The Office of the President and the Special Events Council (SEC) are sponsoring a 4th of July picnic for all Health Science Center faculty, staff, residents and students. There will be free food, ice cream, music and the always-popular cake walk.
Volunteers are needed to assist with cake donations, crowd control, decorations, serving ice cream, cleaning up and much more. If you are interested in volunteering, please email sec@uthscsa.edu.
Shuttle service for the Picnic on Friday, July 1:
Green Route Shuttle – same schedule.
An additional shuttle will be provided from the CTRC and the PARC, beginning at the CTRC at 11 am and then will travel to the PARC and drop off near the AAB, from 11 am until 2 pm. Personnel at the Greehey Campus (STRF, GCCRI, RII, & RAB), the Center for Oral Health, the CTRC and the PARC will enjoy worry-free parking and catch the shuttle to the HSC Picnic.The shuttles will loop every 20 minutes.
