Fox 29: ‘Super germs’ a growing problem in America

There’s growing concern sweeping the country about what’s being called “super germs.” They are bacterial infections that have become resistant to most available treatment options.

“Unfortunately, we are starting to see more cases of these drug resistant bacteria or super bugs in the United States,” said Dr. Jason Bowling, an infectious diseases doctor at UT Health Science Center.
