Nationwide study testing ivermectin and other drugs conducted at UT Health San Antonio

A large, multi-site study funded by the National Institutes of Health aims to test the effectiveness of three existing drugs, including controversial ivermectin, to treat the symptoms of COVID-19. Known as ACTIV-6, the study is now underway at UT Health San Antonio.

From the Chief Medical Officer: COVID-19 vaccine approved for children ages 5 to 11

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has endorsed the recommendation that children 5 to 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine.
