He brings unique expertise to our Health Science Center, and we expect the new section of colorectal surgery to make great strides in improving the care of colonic and anorectal problems under Dr. Winston’s leadership.”

Prior to arriving at the Health Science Center, Dr. Winston was an assistant professor of surgery at Ohio State University. His surgical interests include pelvic floor physiology, local excision of rectal cancer, minimally invasive and laparoscopic approaches to colorectal disease, and dynamic magnetic resonance defecography.
