The HPV vaccine that protects against human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is now available at the Student Health & Wellness Center.
GARDASIL®9 (Human papillomavirus 9-valent vaccine, recombinant) helps protect girls and women ages 9 to 26 against cervical, vaginal, vulva and anal cancers and genital warts caused by nine types of HPV. GARDASIL 9 helps protect boys and men ages 9 to 26 against anal cancer and genital warts caused by those same HPV types.
The Student Health & Wellness Center, located in the School of Nursing, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Be sure to bring in your insurance card and ID. Call 210-567-9355 to make an appointment for you or your dependent.
