The Hyperion Planning and Budgeting application software will be upgraded to version 11.1.2.4 with a scheduled go-live of Aug. 15. The upgraded system will deliver productivity gains for the institutional budgeting process over the coming months. Those accessing the application for monthly variance reporting will initially see only minor cosmetic changes with screen presentation of the application. At go-live, actuals data from the financial system will be loaded daily into Hyperion allowing it to sync with the monthly close schedule of our other financial reporting systems and making business processes more efficient for the institution.
An application blackout is scheduled Aug. 9 through Aug. 14 for the necessary upgrade and cut-over activities to version 11.1.2.4. In the coming weeks, additional communications will be sent to the Hyperion User Community regarding schedules for business activity and the availability of updated support resources.
