UT Heath San Antonio’s internet and VPN will be unavailable from 8 p.m. until midnight on Friday, April 5, due to system upgrades and network maintenance. This includes incoming VPN access from an external location, and incoming access to any UT Health San Antonio website or applications hosted on campus. On-campus access to applications and web sites hosted on UT Health servers will be available.
The outage is required to keep the institution’s network current and to enhance infrastructure.
Services not available from on-campus (not a comprehensive list) include:
• Internet access
• Applications requiring internet access
• Office 365 applications
• My UT Health intranet
Not available from off-campus:
• VPN (Virtual Private Network) – remote access to computers on campus
• UT Health San Antonio websites or applications hosted on campus (e.g. PeopleSoft, Hyperion)
Connectivity to the internet and VPN will be restored at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.
