Join us for the 11th Annual Health Care Institute Conference April 21–23, at the historic Menger Hotel on the San Antonio River Walk. The conference — themed “Challenges and Solutions in Caring for the Unhoused in Our Community,” brings healthcare professionals, educators, social workers, counselors, community leaders, researchers and students together to address critical challenges affecting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The conference is sponsored by The University of Texas at San Antonio’s School of Nursing and the International Association of Latino Nurse Faculty/Nurse Leader.
Available discounts:
Discounts are available for students, alumni and groups.
- Undergraduate students pay $50.
- Graduate students pay $100.
- Alumni receive a 10% discount.
- Groups of five or more people receive a 10% discount.
How to participate:
- Students and professionals: Submit an abstract for a podium presentation by March 4. Submit an abstract for a poster presentation by March 20.

Through keynote presentations, educational sessions and collaborative dialogue, the conference highlights practical strategies to reduce barriers to care, strengthen community partnerships and improve access to services for vulnerable populations.
