Cathy Torrington Eaton, PhD, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathology, raises awareness about aphasia, a common communication disorder caused by stroke, brain injury or a progressive condition. Dr. Eaton provides information about a new monthly support group for patients and their families called San Antonio Network for Aphasia (SANA) that is organized and hosted by UT Health San Antonio’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
