Dr. Ruth Berggren, Infectious Diseases, spoke to KSAT 12’s Tiffany Huertas about the FDA’s recommendation to pause Johnson and Johnson’s vaccine over a rare clotting issue. Dr. Berggren suggested that we need to stay calm, identify only those people who have had this particular vaccine in thhe last three weeks and then alert those individuals regarding potential problems so that they can present for treatment before any problems become serious.
