Dr. Ruth Berggren, Infectious Diseases, again participated in the weekly KSAT 12 series, noting that we’ve had an unprecedented number of health care appointments, including for vaccinations, canceled because of the weather; luckily a grace period up to 42 days will allow for the delay of the vaccine’s second doses without any compromise, but still urged viewers to remain steady on masking, hand washing and social distancing.
