Dr. Tom Patterson, Infectious Diseases, was interviewed by KSAT 12 TV regarding President Trump’s receiving the anti-viral drug remdesivir, to which the FDA has granted emergency authorization, the indications that lead to remdesivir being administered, its side effects and what more is known about COVID’s response to remdesivir since clinical trials of the drug began here in March. Dr. Patterson leads our study site, now in its third phase.
