Learn about Interprofessional Education Collaborative competencies

UT Health San Antonio faculty and staff are invited to participate in workshops on incorporating the Interprofessional Education Collaborative competencies into teaching activities. Using the collaborative competencies as the student learning outcomes for interprofessional education endeavors is core to the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration.

The Teaching Interprofessional Education Program program is designed for faculty and staff who want to acquire knowledge of teaching interprofessional education, learn about the Interprofessional Education Collaborative competencies and engage in activites using the competencies of:

  • ​Values and Ethics
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Interprofessional Communication
  • Teams and Teamwork

The program will be conducted over three 90-minute sessions beginning Tuesday, Nov 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the ALTC, Room 2.202. The other two dates are Tuesday, Nov 13 and Tuesday, Nov. 20.
