Planning for the 2023 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) and online auction is now underway. The SECC is the annual charitable giving campaign for state and higher education employees.
The virtual silent auction has been a huge success for the past three years, and all departments, staff, faculty and student groups are invited to participate.
If you’d like to get creative and showcase your talents, please consider donating items to the online auction. Some ideas include a gift basket, artwork, handmade jewelry or other crafts. All contributions are appreciated, with the exception of clothing.
A description of the item or items you’d like to donate, along with a photo and the value of the item should be submitted to the auction committee no later than Tuesday, Aug. 22.
Only 20 items will be auctioned this year and collected on a first come, first served basis until the 20-item limit is reached. Donations for the online auction will be collected at a later date.
