My Journey to Space: Virtual MHI Distinguished Lecture with NASA Astronaut Andrew R. Morgan

Have you ever wondered what it’s like conducting research in outer space?

The UT Health San Antonio Military Health Institute is hosting NASA astronaut Drew Morgan, MD (COL, U.S. Army) as its Distinguished Lecture speaker this year.

“My Journey to Space” will be presented live via Zoom on Sept. 3 from noon to 1 p.m. (CST).

Dr. Morgan was selected by NASA in 2013 and is an emergency physician in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Prior to his selection to NASA’s 21st group of astronauts, Dr. Morgan served in elite special operations units worldwide. Dr. Morgan will address the medical research being conducted on the ISS.  If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email them to mhi@uthscsa.edu.
