Beginning in October, San Antonio will have two area codes, 210 and 726. Effective Sept. 1, 10-digit dialing will be required for making outbound calls from the university phone systems. All San Antonio residents will be required to use 10 digit dialing for any 210 or 726 number beginning Oct. 1.
