The student group raised $1,405 for Autism Speaks and staffed a booth where they handed our patient care materials and toothbrushes.

The student group is composed of dental students interested in obtaining training in the care of patients with special needs, including patients with autism, developmental and acquired disabilities and those with severe medical illnesses.

Tam Van, D.D.S., professor of comprehensive dentistry, is the faculty adviser.
