Materials Management has released a new General Stores catalog. The catalog is a significant update to previous versions, providing an inventory refresh daily at 8:30 a.m. For those departments needing a rapid restock of personal protective equipment (PPE) or consumable lab items, General Stores is the provider of choice with inventories maintained on-site. In many cases, orders can be filled the same day they are received.
General Stores stocks commonly used research, clinic and PPE products used by UT Health San Antonio departments. Orders to General Stores are placed by submitting a request to the department financial service center or entering a PeopleSoft Financials requisition.

General Stores is a convenient service provided by Materials Management. Other options for ordering lab, clinical and office products include Jaggaer as a Shopper, a shared service with common provider catalogs and negotiated discounted pricing from UT System.
