Dr. Karen Schwab, with UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing, was interviewed for a live segment on News 4 San Antonio about back-to-school vaccinations. She spoke to viewers about the importance of getting your children vaccinated, what parents/caregivers can do if they have misplaced a child’s immunization records and that it’s ok to get the COVID-19 shot at the same time as other vaccinations. She also strongly encouraged parents/caregivers to get the COVID-19 shot for their eligible 12+ year-olds.
