Physicians of UT Health San Antonio and University Health System are among the first in the nation to test an investigational drug for the treatment of COVID-19.
The drug, called remdesivir, is for those 18 and older and the study will enroll patients under care at University Hospital who are critically ill.
Brooke Army Medical Center is the only other San Antonio study site.
