May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month and Dr. Robert Svatek, urologist from the Mays Cancer Center for patient care services within the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, did a live segment on News 4 San Antonio to raise awareness about bladder cancer. Dr. Svatek explained the risk factors associated with bladder cancer, novel treatments in the works for patients and the benefits of Blue Light Cystoscopy technology to detect it.
